Job summary

Select Search Associates LLC is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to bridge policy and technical implementation for DoD and IC information systems. The role supports a team of developers, engineers, and analysts managing Linux instances on virtual and bare metal hardware, enabling accreditation and ongoing security posture.

Candidates should have TS/SCI with CI Poly, strong RMF/A&A experience, and expertise in Red Hat Linux, Kubernetes, and IC security standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance required.
• IA/InfoSec experience with IC customers and RMF/A&A documentation.
• Security engineering covering system engineering, config mgmt, network security.
• Experience with ICD-503 RMF; familiarity with NIST SP 800-37, CNSS publications.
• Experience with continuous monitoring and vulnerability tools (NESSUS, NMAP, Trivy).
• Proficiency with Red Hat Linux/Unix and Kubernetes; RHCSE preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Security certification (Security+ or CISSP) desired.

Responsibilities

• Bridge security policies to technical and operational implementations.
• Support RMF/A&A activities and produce security docs.
• Lead patching, scans, audit logs, and milestones for A&A processes.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers and analysts on information systems.
• Evaluate security architectures for compliance objectives.
