Agile Defense, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support FBI via ISSO/ISSE Program Management in Washington, DC. The role requires a TS clearance and experience with RMF, NIST SP 800-37/53, and CNSS 1253.

You will categorize FBI IT systems, map findings to staffing, and collaborate with program leadership to ensure compliant, scalable security categorizations and cost recovery efforts.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• Experience assessing complex systems for security architecture and risk categorization.
• Proficient in applying NIST RMF, SP 800-37, SP 800-53 guidance.

Responsabilités

• Support categorization of FBI IT systems based on architecture, hosting, and data sensitivity.
• Analyze system security requirements to determine ISSO/ISSE support levels.
• Translate technical attributes into labor mapping aligned to ITSSS categories.
• Collaborate with ISSOs, architects, and leadership to document justifications.
• Assist with RMF activities, security architecture reviews, and documentation.
• Support cost recovery and labor reporting efforts with technical inputs.
• Contribute to automated workflows for categorization and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with FBI, CNSS, and NIST guidance.
