Job summary

Omniscius Consulting is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) for an onsite role in Lorton, Virginia.

You will support secure mission enclaves, enterprise cybersecurity, and risk mitigation, with hands‑on work configuring Entra ID, Azure, ACAS, ePO, Splunk, and STIG/SCAP.

Requirements include TS/SCI clearance with Level III certs, 5–8 years of federal‑cyber experience or 10+ years if no degree, leadership experience, DoD compliance knowledge, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Active IAT/IAM/IASAE Level III certs (CISSP, CISM, CASP+ or DoD 8570/8140).
• Bachelor's in CS/Cybersecurity/Engineering or 10+ years experience.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience and cloud security experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and gaps.
• Engineer cybersecurity solutions supporting Cyber Threat and Defensive Operations.
• Configure and sustain tools like ACAS, ePO, Splunk, STIG/SCAP in cloud environments.
• Configure Microsoft Entra ID and Azure security services for ATO requirements.
• Automate security monitoring, threat assessment, and reporting.
• Analyze security posture trends and brief ISSM/ISSO.
• Recommend controls and mitigation strategies per DoD standards.
• Implement controls per DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Support secure mission enclaves and enterprise cyber defense capabilities.
