Job summary

Select Search Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Information System Security Engineer to join on-site at a client location in Lorton, VA. An active Top Secret with SCI clearance and DoD-aligned expertise are required.

You will lead security assessments, design secure solutions, automate reporting, and mentor engineers, leveraging ePO, Splunk, ACAS, and Azure services to safeguard mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of leadership experience OR equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced skills across security domains including AD, ePO, Splunk, STIG/SCAP, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Architect innovative security solutions to support cyber threat operations.
• Mentor ISSEs, ISSEs, and ISSMs to elevate team capabilities.
• Automate threat assessments, posture reporting, and monitoring activities.
• Report findings to leadership and ensure alignment with DoD policies.
• Lead by example with high-quality engineering standards.
