Job summary

InisCore Technologies in Annapolis Junction, MD, seeks an ISSE at the 3 level to lead security engineering on multiple enclave environments. The role requires integrating secure networking, computing, and cybersecurity architectures with customer teams.

The candidate must hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 IASAE Level 3, and have extensive ISSE experience. Bachelor’s in CS/IA/ISSE is required; Master’s may substitute for experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for design, development, implementation, evaluation and integration of secure networking and enclave environments.
• Apply cybersecurity policy and workforce knowledge to design and implement secure architectures and systems.
• Interact with customers and project team members to ensure security requirements are met.
• Support government enforcement of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
• Assist in security planning, risk analysis and risk management activities.
• Identify security requirements for proper handling of government data and systems.

Job Description

• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design,development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, andenclave environments
• Apply knowledge of Cybersecurity policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop,and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
• Interact with the customer and other project team members
• Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design,development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of Cybersecurity architectures, systems,or system components
• Support the Government in the enforcement of the design and implementation of trusted relationshipsamong external systems and architectures
• Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
• Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data
• Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management
• Perform system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, to include those with differingdata protection/classification requirements
• Recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements

Required Skills

• Twenty (20) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, andcomplexity to include recent experience within the last five (5) years with Cybersecurity principles andtechnology, including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, network andenterprise security architecture is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security SystemEngineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security SysteEngineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, reducing therequirement to eighteen (18) years of experience.In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of ISSE experience may be substituted.
