Job summary

TekSynap in Arlington, VA seeks an ISSE to perform cybersecurity risk assessments and security engineering for the NMCC program. You will conduct securityReviews and support architecture across computing environments, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include building and patching HBSS Windows and ACAS RHEL servers, managing ePO, Nessus, and Security Center, and applying McAfee policies. Must hold TS/SCI and Security+ with 5+ years in systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; substitutions possible as described.

Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments and architecture support for NMCC program.
• Build, deploy, patch HBSS Windows and ACAS RHEL servers.
• Manage ePO, Security Center, Nessus, and McAfee policies.
• Run SCAP scans and STIGs; remediate findings.
• Develop technical solutions from requirements to deployment.
