Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Staff Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to lead security engineering across the software lifecycle and to maintain Authority to Operate for complex cloud and on-prem environments.

You will collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and government stakeholders to implement RMF controls, perform risk assessments, and drive security by design in AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity/IA experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly and DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+, CCNA Security, or CySA+).

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF process across NIST controls to secure and maintain ATO.
• Provide security oversight for cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage POA&Ms.
• Establish continuous monitoring and brief senior stakeholders.
