Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Senior IS Analyst to support IT Security and Compliance Operations, focusing on Microsoft 365 Purview and data governance. The role includes automation, escalation, and cross-team collaboration across a hybrid schedule in multiple U.S.

offices including New York. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in financial services regulatory environments, strong scripting and tooling skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of industry experience with financial institutions and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Center.
• Experience with PowerShell, Azure Automation Runbook, Logic Apps or similar.
• Experience with at least one major regulatory data archive vendor.
• Proficient with Outlook/Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, ServiceNow and related tools.
• Strong understanding of FINRA regulations and Compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 & 2 support for Microsoft 365 Purview Compliance Portal.
• Manage permissions and retention policies in Purview.
• Support eDiscovery cases and surveillance policies.
• Maintain data archiving connectors into Office 365.
• Develop automation to improve system performance and resilience.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve compliance tool issues.
• Document processes and monitor data quality and service resiliency.
• Ensure licensing and compliance with FINRA regulations.
