Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Infra-red (IR) Systems Integration Engineer SME to support an advanced air platform program focused on achieving and sustaining national air dominance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years of related experience is required.
• Experience supporting EO/IR sensor systems and associated hardware and software development.
• Familiarity with EO/IR integration, test, and verification activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing technical content to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and technical management of advanced EO/IR sensor development for mission system applications.
• Support the development, integration, and test of EO/IR hardware and software.
• Lead MBSE activities and model-based systems engineering approaches.
• Participate in platform integration, testing, and verification of subsystems.
• Lead and support Government and industry teams through technical planning, design reviews, test reviews, and technical assessments.
• Develop and deliver technical briefings to senior technical and leadership stakeholders.
