Job summary

Teledyne Imaging Sensors in Camarillo, CA, is seeking a Product Validation and Characterization Engineer to validate ROIC-based infrared focal plane array products and develop robust validation plans. You will analyze data, generate reports, and collaborate with design, test, and applications teams to improve performance.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in semiconductor validation, strong device physics knowledge, and hands-on lab skills with oscilloscopes and probes. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 3–5 years of semiconductor test, validation, or characterization.
• Strong semiconductor device physics and analog/digital/mixed-signal knowledge.
• Hands-on with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current probes.
• Experience with Python automation and instrument interfaces (GPIB/SCPI/socket).
• Experience with JMP, Spotfire, R, and Excel for data analysis.
• U.S. citizenship required due to access restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Validate and characterize ROIC-based infrared focal plane array products.
• Develop and execute validation, characterization, and debug plans.
• Analyze test results and generate technical reports for release.
• Collaborate with design, test, systems, and applications engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot and optimize semiconductor devices and systems.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers.
• Maintain strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
