Job summary

Teledyne Imaging Sensors is seeking a Product Validation and Characterization Engineer to join its mission-focused team. You will validate ROIC-based infrared focal plane array products and develop validation plans across operating conditions, collaborating with design, test, and applications engineering to resolve issues.

You will produce technical reports, support product releases, and provide direct technical support to internal stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data evaluation skills.
• Ability to independently debug complex hardware issues.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Validate and characterize ROIC-based infrared focal plane array products to ensure compliance with design and performance requirements.
• Develop and execute product validation, characterization, and debug plans across operating conditions.
• Analyze test results and generate technical reports to support product release and customer deliverables.
• Collaborate with design, test, systems, and applications engineering to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and external customers; include customer interaction when required.
