Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Space Mission Systems seeks a Senior Manager, Integrated Planning & Scheduling (Level L) to lead a team supporting ESG in Seal Beach, CA or Kennedy Space Center, FL, with travel up to 30%.

The role directs scheduling, IMS, EVM reporting, and cross-functional alignment across development, production and operations. Onsite requirement and active Top Secret/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESG IP&S team including first-level managers.
• Provide strategic direction for integrated planning and scheduling across ESG.
• Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures for scheduling.
• Oversee development, maintenance, and integration of program and portfolio schedules (IMS, detailed schedules, baseline schedules).
• Lead schedule analysis and control activities including critical path, variance, risk, and what-if analyses; change management and corrective action development.
• Ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance of scheduling deliverables and IPMR Format 6 outputs.
• Drive standardized application of integrated master planning methods and tools; align with EVM discipline.
• Build partnerships with senior leadership, customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports for collaboration and accountability.
• Acquire and manage resources; provide technical oversight and approve IP&S deliverables.
