Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Assistant to support U.S. patent prosecution and related responsibilities. The role involves preparing and filing patent applications, IDS, and office actions, and may include PCT filings with coordination of international filings.

The ideal candidate has five or more years of U.S. IP prosecution experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and USPTO systems.

Formación

• Minimum five years of U.S. IP prosecution experience.
• Two or more years of administrative or legal support experience.
• Experience using USPTO systems; familiarity with IP docketing systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support U.S. patent prosecution including preparing and filing patent applications, Information Disclosure Statements, formal documents, office actions, issue fees, and other standard prosecution documents.
• Prepare and file PCT filings; coordinate international filings and prosecution matters with foreign associates.
• Review and report incoming communications from the USPTO, WIPO, and foreign intellectual property offices; participate in quality control of patent filings.
• Manage deadlines, prepare docket reports, maintain electronic records; provide coverage for teammates; assist with the completion billing process; track and enter time spent on billable projects.
