Job summary

Stout in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Manager to lead complex IP damages analyses, shape engagement strategy, and mentor teams within the Intellectual Property practice.

You will manage multiple engagements, review expert analyses and reports, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and counsel, driving growth and excellence across the firm. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering Relentless Excellence in client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or professional designation is a plus.
• 6–8 years of relevant professional experience in damages quantification, preferably within IP disputes.
• Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and managing expert reports in a litigation consulting or dispute advisory environment.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-stream engagements and managing teams across multiple matters.
• Advanced analytical skills in financial modeling, economics, and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple IP engagements, driving engagement strategy, execution, and quality.
• Provide strategic direction on damages analyses across patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters.
• Review and refine expert analyses, financial models, and reports for accuracy and defensibility.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and external counsel, primary contact on key matters.
• Develop, mentor, and retain high-performing teams to support growth in the IP practice.
• Support practice growth through business development and thought leadership.
