Job summary

A JD from an ABA-accredited school is required, with eight years in IP practice, preferably in-house, and CA bar eligibility. Excellent communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of IP attorney experience, including litigation and clearance.
• In-house experience strongly preferred.
• Bar admission in at least one state; CA eligibility if not licensed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple IP matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate IP infringements and pursue enforcement actions.
• Manage online brand enforcement and marketplace actions.
• Oversee customs detentions and seizures.
• Handle global trademark searches and filings; copyright registrations.
• Coordinate with content teams and Mattel Films divisions to clear IP rights.
