Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking an Intellectual Property Senior Associate or Senior Counsel with a minimum of six years of IP experience. The role may be based in any office or the virtual office, The Link. The candidate will primarily support our Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education unit.

Ideal candidates will be USPTO-registered and hold a Ph.D. in Biotechnology or related field, with strong judgment and multi-project management skills.

Qualifications

• Six years of IP experience preferred.
• Registered USPTO attorney or ability to obtain registration.
• Experience with global patent prosecution and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IP strategy and enforcement plans.
• Manage global patent portfolios and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Negotiate licenses and technology transactions.
• Perform due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
