BeOne Medicines is a rapidly growing global biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology therapeutics. We seek an experienced IP counsel to join our in-house legal team, supporting R&D, manufacturing, and commercialization efforts for biologics, ADCs, and gene therapies.

The role requires a US-licensed JD, USPTO admission, 7+ years in biopharma IP, and the ability to collaborate with senior leaders across functions while navigating patent, regulatory data protection, and licensing matters.

Formación

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school; admitted to USPTO and at least one state bar.
• Advanced degree in biological sciences; Ph.D. preferred.
• At least 7 years of biopharmaceutical IP practice.
• Deep understanding of global biopharmaceutical patent law and regulatory data protection.
• Experience drafting patent applications and responses to office actions.
• Experience developing IP portfolios for ADC and/or cell/gene therapies.
• Strong collaboration and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to translate complex laws into practical business counsel.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain a strong IP portfolio for biologics R&D, manufacturing and commercialization.
• Advise senior leaders on patent, regulatory data exclusivity, trademarks and IP issues.
• Support corporate and business development, due diligence, contract drafting and alliance management.
• Monitor patent trends and adjust IP strategies; advocate positions on policy.
• Conduct patent and prior art searches, freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Review draft publications and presentations.
• Provide litigation support, including validity and non-infringement analyses.
