Echodyne, the edge-to-cloud radar innovator in Kirkland, seeks a technical, hands-on lead engineer who thrives at the intersection of edge computing and cloud-native integration. You will write high-performance code on-device while shaping the path to AWS-backed telemetry and state management.

You’ll lead a small team, mentor engineers, and own secure, low-latency edge-to-cloud contracts with AWS services, ensuring robust, reliable operation in disconnected or high-latency environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on edge development using high-performance languages (Rust/C++).
• Experience with AWS IoT Core, AWS SDKs, RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years in technical leadership guiding a small team.
• Solid security practices: AuthN/AuthZ and data privacy on edge devices.
• Understanding edge-to-cloud data flow and telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate edge components with AWS cloud services.
• Design robust interfaces for reliable operation in disconnected/high-latency environments.
• Collaborate with Principal Cloud Tech Lead on secure, high-throughput device-to-cloud contracts.
• Mentor edge team engineers and uphold best practices.
• Identify risks early and ensure edge-to-cloud durability and security.
