Job summary

1KOMMA5° is looking for a (Senior) IoT Cloud Engineer to lead the cloud side of our IoT Platform that manages communication between our devices and cloud services. This remote role around Germany offers the chance to work within a dynamic team committed to driving the energy transition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating cloud/distributed backend systems in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (ideally GKE).
• Experience designing and running observability pipelines for large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud side of the IoT Platform that manages messaging between gateways and cloud services.
• Operate and evolve the Kubernetes-based IoT Cloud Platform.
• Build and own observability pipelines for the IoT Platform.
