Job summary

1KOMMA5° is shaping the energy landscape with Heartbeat AI. The data platform team designs the data flow foundations, enabling ingestion, processing, storage and delivery at scale to empower internal teams with accessible data for diverse use cases.

You will work with GCP, SQLMesh, Terraform, Terramate, GitHub Actions, Python, SQL and Looker to build a robust data ecosystem and ensure governance and discovery across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years proven experience in a data engineering role.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and modeling at scale.
• Experience applying software engineering best practices to data pipelines.
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and IAM.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with Terraform (HCL).
• Experience with a public cloud provider, ideally GCP; knowledge of data services.
• Experience with BI tools and integrating them with modern data setups.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and manage the data platform to support ingestion, transformation, quality assurance, monitoring, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and enable data-driven decisions.
