Job summary

1KOMMA5° is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead with clarity and deep technical insight. You will shape architectural decisions, drive alignment across teams, and ensure execution at the highest standard.

You will work with TypeScript/JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Flutter, GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver a scalable energy platform; remote Germany-wide, with offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich, offering opportunities for professional growth and impact on the energy

Qualifications

5+ years in software development with multiple languages.
Proven experience architecting scalable, secure systems.
Experience designing APIs for integration.
Agile, collaborative, results-oriented mindset.
Strong stakeholder communication; English required; German a plus.
