Job summary
The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Lead iOS Developer for Schwab's Mobile Technology Suite in Austin. You will lead the iOS development across Retail, Retirement and Intelligent Assistant apps, mentor engineers, and help shape the vision and roadmap for the mobile portfolio.
You will collaborate with the principal iOS developer and drive design decisions, leveraging Swift, SwiftUI, and secure, scalable mobile architectures.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of iOS development with leadership experience.
- Strong problem solving and mentoring skills for junior developers.
- Experience with REST, JSON, XML and interfacing to server-side APIs.
- Proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management and real-time communications.
- Familiarity with Agile practices.
- Knowledge of mobile encryption, analytics and social channel integration.
- Experience in building reusable artifacts, modules and assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead development efforts and guide the engineering team for Schwab's mobile apps.
- Participate in design discussions and mentor engineers to remove roadblocks.
- Collaborate with principal iOS developer on vision and roadmap.
- Work across Retail, Retirement and Intelligent Assistant mobile products.
