Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, iOS to drive mobile platform development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and lead major components through design, development, and delivery.

The role emphasizes staying current with Swift and mobile tooling, contributing to agile ceremonies, and partnering with UX/UI, QA, and product teams to deliver engaging customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience building iOS applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Swift.
• 4+ years of experience with iOS development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices.
• Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing quality customer experiences.
• Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies and ensure commitments are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Be an active advocate of the mobile platform within internal and external communities.
• Remain an active learner in technologies related to mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, libraries).
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members and share best practices across teams.
