Charles Schwab is seeking a Lead iOS Developer to guide the Mobile Technology suite for Retail, Retirement, and Intelligent Assistant. You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with the principal iOS developer to shape the roadmap and deliver cutting-edge mobile experiences.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration in Austin, TX, with a focus on performance, security, and user-centric design for Schwab's mobile apps across platforms.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of iOS development experience with team leadership.
• Strong problem solving skills and mentoring junior developers.
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML and interfacing mobile apps to APIs.
• Proficiency with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Solid grasp of algorithms, memory management, and real-time communications.
• Familiarity with Agile practices.
• Understanding of mobile encryption, analytics, and social channel integration.
• Experience in developing reusable artifacts, modules, and assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts across Schwab's Mobile Technology suite.
• Mentor engineers and remove roadblocks for the team.
• Participate in design discussions and help shape the roadmap for mobile apps.
