NOCD is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to scale our mobile platform and expand access to effective OCD treatment. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and Clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient-facing iOS experiences, while contributing to backend services using Python, TypeScript, and AWS.

This role emphasizes ownership and shaping mobile architecture as NOCD grows. Hybrid work in Chicago, with 3x weekly on-site collaboration, offers a flexible environment

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proven experience shipping and maintaining production iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience with async/await and Combine.
• Backend experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and working across the frontend/backend boundary.
• Working experience with AWS and cloud-based architecture.

Responsabilités

• Build and improve patient-facing iOS experiences used during ERP therapy.
• Develop clinician tools and in-session features that support high-quality care.
• Build and optimize real-time video and communication experiences.
• Contribute to backend services and APIs using Python and TypeScript.
• Work with AWS services to support mobile applications and backend infrastructure.
• Improve app performance, reliability, architecture, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to solve meaningful user problems.
• Help establish mobile and full-stack engineering practices, patterns, and code quality as the team grows.
