Job summary

NOCD is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Engineer to scale our mobile platform and expand access to OCD treatment. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Design, and Clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient and clinician experiences on iOS, with some backend work in Python, TypeScript, and AWS.

This hands-on role emphasizes ownership, problem solving across the stack, and shaping mobile architecture as NOCD grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Experience with modern concurrency patterns including async/await and Combine.
• Professional experience with backend development using Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs and working across the frontend/backend boundary.
• Working experience with AWS.
• Ability to work independently and take features from concept through production.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve patient-facing iOS experiences used during ERP therapy.
• Develop clinician tools and in-session features that support high-quality care.
• Build and optimize real-time video and communication experiences.
• Contribute to backend services and APIs using Python and TypeScript.
• Work with AWS services to support mobile applications and backend infrastructure.
• Improve app performance, reliability, architecture, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Clinical teams to solve meaningful user problems.
• Help establish mobile and full-stack engineering practices, patterns, and code quality as the team grows.
