Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America is seeking a Senior iOS Mobile Developer to advance the Mercedes me app for North America. You will design, develop and maintain iOS experiences for Connected Car features and integrate with Mercedes-Benz’s customer experience.

You will lead cross-functional teams across mobile engineering, backend, product and UX, ensuring high-quality releases for iPhone and wearables, with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of native iOS development experience.
• Strong Swift coding skills and modern iOS architectures.
• Experience with MVP, MVVM and VIPER.
• Experience with concurrency (async/await, Dispatch, Combine).
• Experience publishing apps to the App Store and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain iOS features for the Mercedes me connect app serving North American customers.
• Lead iOS feature implementation architecture aligned with product and QA.
• Develop Connected Car experiences integrating mobile app with backend and vehicles.
• Ensure performance, security and reliability across devices including wearables.
• Collaborate with global teams to ship features within timelines.
• Mentor engineers via code reviews and best-practice documentation.
• Support release readiness and Apple guidelines compliance.
