American Outdoor Brands seeks a Senior Application Developer to own architecture, development, release, and ongoing support for mobile apps across Android or iOS. You will lead complex features, set platform best practices, and mentor junior teammates while collaborating with product, design, and IT teams.

The role emphasizes delivering high-performance, secure, accessible apps and maintaining compatibility with current OS versions and SDKs. Strong leadership and communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Android or iOS development with independent delivery.
• Experience leading complex mobile projects and mentoring others.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, release, and maintain production mobile apps for Android or iOS.
• Serve as a technical expert for the assigned mobile platform and lead features.
• Develop scalable architectures and translate requirements into technical plans.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers, Product Engineers, and design teams.
• Lead integration with APIs, cloud services, Bluetooth, databases, and third-party services.
• Provide code reviews and mentorship to junior developers and interns.
