Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an iOS Developer Tools Engineer for Car Experience to join the Car Experience Systems Engineering team in Cupertino.

You will help define and support development and adoption of communications between iPhone and vehicles, enabling world-class user experiences. The role requires strong software engineering skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience on iOS and/or macOS platforms using C/C++/Objective-C/Swift, with frameworks and UI experience preferred.
• Experience creating system test and validation tools.
• Experience releasing software to production environments.
• Object-oriented programming and design proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support development and testing of new and existing automotive iOS features by creating reference designs, designing test and simulation tools, and communicating with automotive partners to support their integration efforts.
