Job summary

MartianCraft is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to tackle technically challenging problems and deliver modern framework apps with real user impact. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Houston, TX at least three days weekly, mentoring junior developers, and strong SwiftUI expertise.

The successful candidate will review code, collaborate with senior developers, and drive features end-to-end, using Swift and SwiftUI across Apple platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Apple-platform development experience.
• Strong Swift and SwiftUI expertise.
• Experience leading small development teams.
• Proven ability to review code and mentor juniors.
• Familiar with Core Data and Git workflows.
• Onsite in Houston three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Build advanced applications in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Review code from other developers and provide feedback.
• Mentor and train junior developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship features.
• Integrate with existing APIs and data sources.
• Unit-test code for usability, reliability, and robustness.
• Fix bugs and improve performance.
• Interact with client teams to determine requirements and priorities.
• Use project management tools like GitHub Issues, Monday, or Jira to organize work.
