Job summary

System One in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to lead mobile app initiatives in a hybrid role combining onsite and remote work. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver robust iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C, while aligning with MVP/MVVM patterns and enterprise architecture.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of mobile experience, deep knowledge of iOS frameworks, REST APIs, and testing with XCTest/XCUITest.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of mobile development experience.
• 5+ years of iOS app development with Swift/SwiftUI/Objective-C.
• Strong object-oriented programming background.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation.
• Experience with Xcode for coding, debugging and deployment.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and memory management.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS apps to back-end services.
• Familiarity with MVC, MVP, MVVM patterns.
• 4+ years of experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of web technologies and UI/UX standards.
• Understanding of Apple design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with XCTest/XCUITest.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sound, high-quality technical deliverables.
• Estimate work for each sprint or release.
• Create roadmaps for future enhancements based on requirements.
• Develop mobile application code in coordination with the team.
• Integrate apps with centralized authentication.
• Prepare architecture and design documents including nonfunctional requirements.
• Work in an Agile environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Be hands-on to develop or fix issues to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with BA/QA to create test plans and ensure issues are fixed and tested.
• Ensure design patterns like MVP, MVVM are followed.
• Groom the team and drive customer-centric innovation.
• Escalate issues to leads to avoid delays.
• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis.
• Apply tech and domain knowledge to delivery of components.
• Handle moderate-scope problems requiring analysis.
