Expedia Group is seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to build, maintain, and enhance mobile features across Expedia brands. You will design clean Kotlin code, APIs, and data models, and collaborate with backend teams to deliver robust experiences.

You will own app components, optimize performance, and contribute to AI-enabled mobile workflows. Requires 5+ years in Android/Kotlin with strong testing and CI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience developing Android apps using Kotlin including production features.
• Experience owning app components/services with API consumption and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of Android fundamentals and core software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain Android features for Expedia Group brands.
• Design and implement clean, testable Kotlin code with APIs and data models.
• Contribute to mobile component design and integration with backend services.
• Diagnose, debug, and improve performance, stability, and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end with tests and CI.
• Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions into mobile features.
