Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer III for the Intelligent Applications team in Seattle. You will design, develop, and deliver robust, scalable services, owning API design and data models, and collaborating across product, architecture, and engineering teams.

You will apply AI/ML concepts to real-world travel tasks, work on multiple services, and uphold engineering best practices including testing, observability, and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• Several years of professional software development experience.
• Ownership of design and implementation of services including API design.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and fundamentals.
• Experience improving reliability, performance, and maintainability through tests and monitoring.
