Job summary

WHOOP is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to design and implement software that enables wearable sensors to communicate with the mobile platform. You will shape architecture, optimize connectivity, and ensure robust data flow across the ecosystem.

You’ll lead iOS components interfacing with hardware, collaborate across teams, and contribute to testing, releases, and code quality. This role is based in Boston, MA with relocation possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS software engineering experience.
• Experience with Swift and iOS APIs, concurrency, and memory management.
• Hands-on experience with Combine and background task processing.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, and maintain iOS components interfacing with WHOOP hardware over BLE/Wi‑Fi.
• Evolve iOS architecture and protocols; ensure consistency across iOS/Android.
• Improve performance, power efficiency, and reliability of the connectivity software.
