Job summary

Whoop is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a software team that builds core physiology services and wearable tech platforms. You will guide technical design, architecture, and operational excellence while mentoring engineers to grow their careers.

You will manage up to 12 engineers, champion a culture of innovation and psychological safety, and collaborate with product, design and QA to ship features in a fast-paced startup environment in Boston, MA.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software teams and mentoring engineers.
• Proven ability to hire, grow and manage performance.
• Strong background building and operating backend systems in production.
• Ability to lead technically in ambiguous environments with iterative delivery.
• Experience aligning stakeholders across functions and external partners.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud infra (AWS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities
