Job summary

MFS Investments is seeking an Investment Data Analyst to join the Data Management team in Boston. You will own data quality across a multi-asset book, drive issue resolution, and partner with operations, technology, and reporting teams to ensure data is accurate, timely, and fit for purpose.

You will lead data standardization efforts, support data packages, and contribute to governance and monitoring initiatives in a fast-paced asset management environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a finance, CS, engineering, data science, or related field.
• 6-8+ years of investment management experience, with emphasis on data, analytics, or operations.
• Strong PM and process mgmt skills to guide data quality improvement projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop scalable solutions.
• Understanding of data usage in investment processes and data quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve investment data quality and accuracy issues end-to-end.
• Autonomously manage data quality backlog with stakeholder input and risk principles.
• Track data lineage and dependencies; conduct data quality impact analysis.
• Collaborate across operations, technology, distribution, legal, and compliance to build solutions.
• Develop data packages, implement data standardization, and support data governance.
