Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 3–5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting data-oriented applications and platforms.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with SQL and advanced SQL concepts.
• Experience developing and maintaining data models using dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Experience with data integration (ETL/ELT), data warehousing, and analytics architectures.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud-native databases is preferred.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Agile SDLC/DevOps/CI‑CD awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models in dbt within Snowflake.
• Build modular, scalable, and well-documented transformation pipelines.
• Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
• Participate in development activities aligned with business objectives.
• Improve data quality, resiliency, controls, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot data and system issues and identify root causes.
• Partner with senior engineers, platform leads, architects, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Support integration of ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and validation tools.
• Enhance data engineering and analytics capabilities across the platform.
• Provide operational and production support during outages or incidents.
