Siemens Energy in Florida, Orlando area, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for Investment Casting to lead turbine blade and vane qualification across design, process, and supply chain. You’ll drive manufacturability, cost targets, and quality through PDP and supplier management, interfacing with Design Engineering and procurement for on-time industrialization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Diploma in Foundry Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive foundry experience in investment casting with design, metallurgical knowledge and QA methods.
• Strong cross-functional communication to lead qualification teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Advanced MS Office; SAP and Teamcenter experience.

Responsibilities

• Project responsibility for the entire manufacturing and product lifecycle—from Design for Manufacture through industrialization and into series production.
• Conduct design reviews as part of the PDP, considering procurement and manufacturing.
• Process and product data evaluation during qualification; plan for new development and series projects; lead cycle-time reduction and cost-saving initiatives.
• Supplier management of casting suppliers—quality, cost, and lead time.
• Assess existing suppliers and support selection of new suppliers and their development.
