Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Quality Engineer - Blades & Vanes to strengthen supplier quality management for hot gas components used in gas turbines across North America. You will integrate project, quality, and supplier activities to uphold high standards in production and start-up of new and series parts.

You will lead continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Lean, build strong supplier relationships, drive cost and delivery improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in manufacturing/Materials/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience with quality methodologies and manufacturing management.
• Strong project management, organizational, and cross-cultural skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive supplier quality improvements using data analysis and metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive improvements.
• Lead initiatives to reduce costs and delivery times at external suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality with business goals.
• Contribute input to the technology roadmap for future product positioning.
