Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for Investment Casting to lead product and process qualifications of turbine blades and vanes. You will interface Design Engineering with supply chain to ensure manufacturability, on-time delivery, and cost/quality targets across the production chain.

The role requires extensive foundry knowledge, QA through FMEA and NDT methods, and strong leadership in cross‑functional teams, with willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma in Foundry Engineering, Materials Science, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive foundry/investment casting experience with process, design and metallurgical knowledge; QA methods (FMEA, 8D) and NDT knowledge.
• Strong cross‑functional communication and leadership to guide qualification teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally and collaborate with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing and product lifecycle from design for manufacture to industrialization and series production.
• Conduct design reviews considering procurement and manufacturing constraints.
• Evaluate process and product data during qualification and plan new development projects.
• Manage supplier quality, cost, and lead time; support supplier development.
