Job summary

Nationwide’s Investments Back Office Reconciliations team seeks a Senior Investment Analyst to lead reconciliation efforts across cash, securities, and asset values. This role partners with Custodians, Asset Managers, and Technology Providers to drive closure of open items.

You will identify gaps, design scalable processes, ensure timely data access, and uphold strong financial risk controls within the Back Office and Controllership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Investment Operations, BI Reporting, Investment Accounting, or Financial Services.
• Experience with reconciliation processes including transaction, position, and cash reconciliations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess current state reconciliation landscape and identify gaps.
• Partner with Technology to design more detailed reconciliations.
• Adopt a proactive mindset for future reconciliation improvements.
• Ensure access to structured data from internal and external counterparties on a timely basis.
• Own financial risk controls supported by the reconciliation infrastructure.
