Job summary

RGA is seeking an Accounting Analyst to perform investment accounting operations and support financial close, reporting, controls, and audits. You will work with Finance and Investments teams to ensure accurate data and timely deliverables.

Responsibilities include complex reconciliations, data extraction and analysis, documenting controls, and auditor support. A BA/BS in accounting or finance and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
• 2+ years accounting or auditing experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in projects or teams (non-supervisory).

Responsibilities

• Execute reconciliations, coordinating inputs across Investment Operations, Treasury, and banking partners.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close with complex cash matters.
• Prepare and analyze reports, identify variances and trends.
• Ensure internal controls are followed and documentation retained.
• Assist auditors with requested documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Investments, and other internal partners on processes.
• Identify process improvements and implement approved enhancements.
