Job summary

Nationwide Investments seeks a seasoned Investment Professional Data Analyst to shape how data drives front‑office decisions. You will build analytics datasets and reusable data products powering dashboards, AI-enabled workflows, and quantitative tools in a multi‑billion‑dollar portfolio environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Eight+ years building and supporting analytical data, BI, or investment data environments.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses, analytical reporting, and reusable data models.
• Experience in financial services, asset management, insurance, or capital markets desirable.
• Experience supporting AI-enabled analytics, analytics engineering workflows, or governed automation.

Responsibilities

• Design curated analytic data structures and shared business logic with Data Governance and Data Management.
• Provide controlled, reusable data access via SQL, APIs, and related interfaces for analysts and portfolio teams.
• Build and maintain analytics and semantic layer for dashboards, quantitative tools, and research workflows.
• Monitor and improve data quality, consistency and documentation on enterprise sources.
• Collaborate with Technology to align analytics with enterprise architecture (Snowflake, Databricks, Aladdin).
