Job summary

Novastone Capital Advisors seeks an Investment Team Senior Associate to join the North American team and lead deal evaluation and execution for SMEs seeking acquisition opportunities.

You will support searchers in identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A transactions, while developing financial models and coordinating with senior team members to ensure timely deliverables. This is a remote, international role based in North America.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or investment funds.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record in a relevant field.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work with ambiguity.
• Solid understanding of accounting, finance, and M&A transactions.
• Strong written and spoken communication to engage with investors and sellers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, structure, and execute M&A transactions with searchers and investors.
• Develop and own financial models for potential transactions.
• Communicate project progress and deadlines to senior team members.
• Review and develop legal documents for potential transactions with senior colleagues.
• Oversee deal memoranda prepared by searchers prior to investor presentations.
