Job summary

Remarkable Ventures Climate (RVC) is seeking a Senior Investment Associate to join our energy‑transition focused team, investing in early‑stage companies with bold founders. The role combines sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio support to accelerate the transition.

You will lead investment analysis, coordinate with legal and the investment team through deal execution, and contribute to strategic insights and investor communications. This is a full‑time, in‑person position based in New York.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or a high-growth startup.
• Prior exposure to energy, climate, or infrastructure investing is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required; technical or quantitative backgrounds welcome.

Senior Investment Associate – Remarkable Ventures Climate – Energy Transition-focused Fund

The Opportunity

Remarkable Ventures is seeking an exceptional Senior Investment Associate to join our Remarkable Ventures Climate (RVC) team, focused on investing in the energy transition. Experience with energy investments and the renewable energy transition is strongly preferred.

RVC invests in early-stage companies working to speed the energy transition for the world’s largest industries. We are investing in remarkable founders at the early-stage (Seed – Series A). Areas of focus include the Energy Transition, Grid Modernization, Data Center, Fintech, Mobility, Manufacturing, and Mining. We have a particular focus on the application of AI to these industries. Current portfolio companies include Torus, GridAstra, Lucend, and BoxPower.

RVC builds on Remarkable Ventures’ 15 years of early-stage investing. Our prior funds have backed 120 companies at the Seed, Series A, and Series B stages, and our Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA) has invested in 400 companies to date.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Investment Associate will join RVC’s investment team. This is a full-time, in-person position.

• Sourcing — Proactively identify and engage founders building in relevant sectors. Build and maintain a robust pipeline through research, conferences, investor networks, and your own relationships.
• Investment Analysis — Lead and support deep diligence across financial, technical, competitive, and market dimensions. Conduct founder and customer reference calls, review product demos and technical architectures, and analyze financial statements. Synthesize findings into investment memos and present recommendations directly to our investment committee.
• Deal Execution – Work with founders, legal counsel, and our investment team through the entire deal process, including closing investment deals. This includes investment documentation and discussions of deal terms.
• Portfolio Reporting — Track portfolio company performance, monitor reporting materials, and review board decks.
• Portfolio Support — Assist portfolio companies with strategic insights, financial modeling, investor decks, and related materials.
• Networking — Create and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and other members of the startup ecosystem.

What we are looking for

Experience & Background

• 4 years of relevant experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or a high-growth startup.
• Prior exposure to energy, climate, or infrastructure investing is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required; technical or quantitative backgrounds welcome.

Skills

• Exceptional analytical ability; including building financial models from scratch, and working through data rooms.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to produce polished investment memos and presentations independently.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their applications.

Compensation

Full-time in-person position with full health benefits and 15 days paid vacation per year.

Base salary range: $120K to $150K with additional considerations depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
