About Remarkable Ventures

Remarkable Ventures is a venture capital firm with 15 years of experience investing across multiple stages of company development. The firm has established a strong track record in the startup ecosystem, having invested in over 100 companies across Seed, Series A, and Series B stages. The firm’s portfolio includes six unicorns and has demonstrated consistent success in identifying and supporting high‑potential founders and companies. Remarkable Ventures Climate (RVC) is the firm’s dedicated fund focused on the energy transition and related technologies. RVC invests in early‑stage companies powering the next generation of the energy transition, spanning energy generation, grid technologies, data centers, storage solutions, infrastructure, and physical AI applications. The fund backs remarkable founders at the Seed to Series A stages who are building companies that move the economy toward a more efficient and reliable energy future. RVC’s portfolio includes several notable companies such as Torus (a unicorn), Box Power, GridAstra, Neuralwatt, Camus, and BetterFleet. In addition to the main venture fund, Remarkable Ventures operates the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA), a sister platform that has invested in over 400 pre‑seed companies. This extensive experience and network position the firm as a significant player in early‑stage venture capital with particular expertise in climate and energy transition technologies.

About this Role

The Senior Investment Associate will join Remarkable Ventures Climate’s investment team in a full‑time, in‑person capacity. This role is central to the fund’s investment strategy and requires active participation across the entire investment lifecycle, from sourcing and deal analysis through portfolio support. The position involves multiple distinct investment‑related activities. In the sourcing phase, the associate will meet with founders of prospective portfolio companies, leveraging networking and research to unearth investment opportunities aligned with the fund’s energy transition thesis. During the analysis phase, the associate will work closely with the firm’s Partners to evaluate all aspects of potential investments, including financial statements, competitive positioning, customer and founder reference calls, product demonstrations, and technical architecture assessments. Analysis findings will be presented to the investment committee to directly inform investment decision‑making. The associate will also participate in deal execution activities, collaborating with founders, legal counsel, and the internal investment team to close investment deals. This includes managing investment documentation and engaging in deal term discussions. Beyond initial investment, the role includes ongoing portfolio reporting responsibilities, tracking portfolio company performance, monitoring reporting materials, and reviewing board decks. The associate will provide direct support to portfolio companies with financial modeling, investor deck preparation, and related materials development. A significant component of the role involves networking and relationship building within the startup ecosystem. This includes attending conferences, speaking on panels, conducting informal meetings with founders and investors, and participating in pitch competitions and demo days.
