Realized Holdings, Inc. in Austin, TX or Remote is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join the Research team.

This exempt full-time role reports to the VP of Research and compensates with base salary plus bonus and benefits, commensurate with experience. You will underwrite and diligence offerings, lead analytical projects, and shape research tools for advisors and investors, working directly with senior leadership and presenting to the Due Diligence Committee, sales teams, and investors.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of financial analysis, underwriting, acquisitions, asset management, or lending, ideally in commercial real estate or commercial mortgage.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including cash flow analysis, return metrics, and complex debt and equity partnership structures.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and model structured commercial real estate investments, including market analysis, historical performance, cash flow projections, and layered debt and equity structures.
• Review offering materials and third-party diligence, including leases, loan documents, appraisals, environmental and property condition reports, and sponsor materials; identify issues and present findings to the Due Diligence Committee, sales team, and investors.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on calls, video conferences, and in-person presentations with advisors and investors.
• Lead projects that create new analytical tools and models, and support the VP of Research in documenting and testing development work with the Development team.
• Contribute to thought leadership, including building and scaling market and sector reports.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed up document review and data extraction, and verify outputs against source documents.
• Follow the competitive landscape and complete ad hoc research as needed.
• Lead complex transactions from first look through a recommendation to management.

About the Role

Realized Holdings is an investment platform based in Austin, TX, focused on tax-advantaged private placement real estate, including Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs), UPREITs, Qualified Opportunity Zone investments, and a range of fund structures. As a Senior Investment Analyst on the Research team, you will underwrite and diligence the offerings we bring to advisors and investors, lead analytical projects, and shape the research and tools we put in front of the market. You will work directly with senior leadership and will often be the person explaining the numbers to our Due Diligence Committee, our sales team, and investors.

We want someone who adapts quickly, takes initiative, and is comfortable in a segment of commercial real estate that is still taking shape.

What You Will Do

• Underwrite and model structured commercial real estate investments, including market analysis, historical performance, cash flow projections, and layered debt and equity structures. Build new models where existing ones fall short.
• Review offering materials and third-party diligence, including leases, loan documents, appraisals, environmental and property condition reports, and sponsor materials. Identify issues, challenge sponsor assumptions, and present findings to the Due Diligence Committee, the sales team, and investors.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on calls, video conferences, and in-person presentations with advisors and investors.
• Lead projects that create new analytical tools and models, and support the VP of Research in documenting and testing development work with the Development team.
• Contribute to our thought leadership, including building and scaling market and sector reports.
• Use AI-assisted tools to speed up document review and data extraction, and verify all outputs against source documents.
• Follow the competitive landscape across real estate, capital markets, and private placement products, and complete ad hoc research as needed.
• Lead complex transactions from first look through a recommendation to management.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years in financial analysis, underwriting, acquisitions, asset management, or lending, ideally in commercial real estate or commercial mortgage.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including cash flow analysis, return metrics, and complex debt and equity partnership structures.
• The ability to read real estate documents critically and spot problems others miss.
• Strong research and analytical skills across qualitative and quantitative information.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Clear writing and speaking. You can explain a complex investment to anyone from a CEO to an individual investor.
• Curiosity, integrity, and the self-direction to manage several projects at once and solve problems without being told where to start.

Preferred

• ARGUS experience.
• Working knowledge of real estate taxation, including 1031 exchange mechanics.
• Experience in structured finance, securitization, or tax credits.
