Job summary

CERES Group is building a large-scale Investment Accounting platform and is looking for software engineers with deep investment accounting and enterprise application delivery experience. You will design, implement, test, and deploy production-ready code, collaborating with stakeholders and Scrum teams to align with the roadmap, architecture, and MVP milestones in a cloud-native, multi-tenant setting.

Strong communication, rigorous coding standards, and automation are expected to maintain OWASP

Qualifications

• Deep investment accounting and enterprise application delivery experience.
• Strong software engineering skills across modern tech stack.
• Ability to work with Scrum teams and governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, unit-test, and deliver production-ready code across investment accounting workstreams.
• Review documentation and collaborate with stakeholders to align current-state and target-state.
• Translate requirements into epics, features, and user stories with automated tests.
• Write and maintain automated tests for CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain technical documentation, including design docs, API specs, and deployment runbooks.
• Support defect resolution, production readiness, and release management.
• Coordinate with business and tech stakeholders to resolve ambiguities and dependencies.
• Develop functionalities in areas such as Reconciliation, Central Ref Data Service, Corporate Actions, Cash and Collateral, Data – Accounts & Security Resolution, and more.
