Job summary

Ceres FTS in Boston is looking for a skilled Senior Backend/Full-Stack Engineer to help build a next-generation portfolio and investment accounting system. The role requires expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and experience with microservices and API design, particularly within the investment and financial services sectors. A working knowledge of React and cloud-native services, ideally in Azure, will be beneficial. The work is onsite at the client office in the metro-Boston area.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java and Spring Boot is required.
• Knowledge in React is a plus.
• Familiarity with microservices and event streaming using Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
• Experience with API design and relational data modeling in PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Cloud Native Services, ideally in Azure.
