Talent Haus represents a confidential single-family office in Miami seeking a Director of Accounting to lead its accounting and tax function across US and international entities and trust structures. You will report to the Investment Committee and work closely with family principals and external advisors.

This role oversees end-to-end accounting, tax oversight, and governance, with a strong emphasis on GAAP, multi-entity reporting, and external firm coordination.

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a family office or financial services
• Deep knowledge of tax and cross-border accounting
• Experience managing work from large outside accounting firms
• Discretion, sound judgment, and a calm, steady presence with principals
• Spanish proficiency is a strong plus

Responsabilités

• Building and running the accounting function end to end: GL, closes, and multi-entity reporting
• Trust and entity accounting across domestic and international holdings
• Tax oversight at federal, state, and international level, including filings reviewed by a national CPA firm
• Serving as the main point of contact for outside CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors
• Running QuickBooks Enterprise hands-on, including integration with the external firm's systems
• Setting policies, procedures, and internal controls that meet GAAP and governance standards
• Supporting the Investment Committee on reporting, capital structures, and investment activity

A well-established single family office in Miami is looking for a Director of Accounting to lead its entire accounting and tax function. You'll be the family's go-to authority on the numbers across US and international entities and trust structures. You'll report directly to the Investment Committee and work side by side with family principals and top external advisors.

What you'll own

• Building and running the accounting function end to end: GL, monthly/quarterly/annual closes, and multi-entity reporting
• Trust and entity accounting across domestic and international holdings
• Tax oversight at the federal, state, and international level, including reviewing filings prepared by a national CPA firm
• Serving as the main point of contact for outside CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors
• Running QuickBooks Enterprise hands-on, including integration with the external firm's systems
• Setting policies, procedures, and internal controls that meet GAAP and governance standards
• Supporting the Investment Committee on reporting, capital structures, and investment activity

What you bring
